Privacy policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
Ivyify provides AI-assisted content operations for Shopify merchants. This policy explains the information we process when you visit this website, contact support, install the Shopify app, or use an enabled Ivyify workflow.
Information provided by Shopify and merchants
Depending on the features a merchant enables, Ivyify may process:
- Shopify store identity and account context needed to authorize the app;
- product, variant, collection, blog, article, and related catalog or content information;
- content settings, prompts, drafts, review decisions, publishing instructions, and automation configuration;
- optional Search Console performance data after a merchant connects that service; and
- support messages and diagnostic information supplied by the merchant.
The Shopify authorization screen shows the permissions requested by the app. Ivyify uses authorized data to provide the workflows selected by the merchant.
Storefront measurement
When a merchant enables Ivyify storefront measurement, the Ivyify Web Pixel can process events associated with a recent Shopify blog visit, including page views, product views, add-to-cart events, checkout start, and checkout completion. Event records can include:
- event time and a pseudonymized client identifier;
- page, referrer, and source blog URLs;
- relevant product and variant identifiers; and
- order or cart amount and currency.
The client identifier is cryptographically hashed before storage. Ivyify does not use this measurement feature to collect customer names, email addresses, postal addresses, payment card details, or checkout form contents.
How we use information
We use information to:
- provide and secure the service;
- understand store context and identify content opportunities;
- generate merchant-requested drafts;
- carry out explicitly approved publishing actions;
- measure enabled content workflows;
- troubleshoot problems and prevent abuse; and
- improve service reliability.
Ivyify does not sell personal information.
AI and service providers
Relevant prompts, store context, and draft content may be processed by configured AI and infrastructure providers when needed to fulfill a merchant request. Providers are limited to the purpose of operating Ivyify and are expected to handle information under applicable contractual and security obligations.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained for the periods needed to provide the service, maintain security and recovery records, meet legal obligations, and resolve support issues. Retention can vary by data type and account status.
Merchants can disconnect optional integrations, uninstall the Shopify app, or request account and content deletion through Ivyify support. Ivyify also handles Shopify's mandatory customer data request, customer redaction, and shop redaction webhooks.
Website cookies
The public website uses a language preference cookie. It does not use advertising trackers or marketing cookies in this release.
Security
Ivyify uses Shopify authorization, server-side credentials, HTTPS for production traffic, scoped access controls, and merchant approval gates for publishing. No service can guarantee absolute security; contact us promptly if you believe an account or store connection has been compromised.
Your choices and contact
Store owners control connected Shopify access and optional integrations. To ask a privacy question, request deletion, or exercise an applicable privacy right, contact the support address published on this website. Never send passwords, API keys, access tokens, or customer personal data by email.
Changes
We may update this policy as Ivyify evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date.
